Substack does not ship an official public posting API. API Substack gives authors an unofficial way to post draft to Substack via MCP.

Use our MCP server from an MCP-compatible client to draft, publish, and schedule.

Steps

1) Register on API Substack (required). 2) Generate your API key. 3) Connect your Substack publication. 4) post draft through MCP using that key.

You must create an account to receive an API key. Without registration, posting via API Substack will not work.
